Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Board meets with President of Foundation for Ethnic Understanding

Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), met with a delegation led by Marc Schneier, President and Founder of the US-based Foundation for Ethnic Understanding.

During the meeting, Allahshukur Pashazade emphasized Azerbaijan’s unique multiculturalism and its role in international interfaith dialogue, crediting the country’s leadership and the Caucasus Muslims Board for promoting global cooperation. He highlighted the coexistence of different religious communities in Azerbaijan as a model of religious harmony, noting the conditions created for the Jewish community and their active participation in public life.

The Chairman expressed satisfaction with positive trends toward Azerbaijan observed during his recent visit to the United States, which included high-level meetings and interactions with religious and public leaders.

Allahshukur Pashazade also highlighted the ongoing large-scale reconstruction and restoration efforts in the liberated territories under the “Great Return” program.

President Marc Schneier praised Azerbaijan’s contributions to intercultural and interfaith dialogue, underscoring the significance of international forums hosted by Azerbaijan that regularly bring together influential religious leaders from around the world.
