The Rabbi and The Rapper

New York, NY: Rabbi Marc Schneier, President of the Foundation For Ethnic Understanding, and Russell Simmons, Hip-hop impresario and CEO of Rush Communications, filmed a public service announcement to promote stronger relations between the African American and Jewish communities. The public service announcement also featured students and Principal Ronald Wells of Martin Luther King, Jr. High School where the spot was filmed the public Service announcement, which aired in January in commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday and in February to celebrate Black History Month. Time Warner Cable for produced the public service announcement, which aired on CNN, New York 1, MTV, CNBC, Nickelodeon, Fox News, MSNBC, Comedy Central, A&E, and VH1.
