National Ethnic Tolerance Campaign with Stevie Wonder: The production and airing of public service announcements with Stevie Wonder, Russell Simmons and high school students complemented by a high school curriculum guide and community group pamphlet distributed nationwide.
5th Annual Black/Jewish Congressional Awards Ceremony and Reception: Brings the African American and Jewish members of Congress together to celebrate local and national cooperation.
The Demographic, Educational and Research Chair Project: The creation of an educational and research chair that will focus on researching and developing education materials and reports to study the changing demographics of the New York Metropolitan area.
The Ethnic Congressional Caucus Washington, DC Office Project: The office's sole mission is to work to strengthen relations with and between the Congressional Black Caucus, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the Jewish Congressional Delegation and the Asian Pacific American Caucus.
Latino/Jewish Relations Project: The first annual Latino/Jewish congressional program, a national report on the state of Hispanic/Jewish relations based on intensive research, interviews, and the distribution of our national poll on Latino/Jewish relations.
SHARED DREAMS High School and College Curriculum Guide Project with United Negro College Fund and Hillel: Distribution of the book with curriculum guides to Jewish day schools, public high schools, colleges and youth organizations.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Project: Web Site Commemoration of Dr. King Day publicizing ways to honor his legacy and providing commemorative materials for institutions. Advertisements run in Jewish papers in partnership with the UJA-Federation of NY & the JCRC of NY listing Jewish institutions, synagogues and community groups commemorating Dr. King Day.
6th Annual Report on Black/Latino/Jewish Relations in the United States: Compilation and distribution to community groups and their leaders across the country detailing the state of interethnic cooperation and conflict.
2001-2002 New York Directory of Interethnic Activity: The distribution of a unique directory, listing organizations that actively work in the field of inter-group relations.
Annual Spring, Fall, Los Angeles and Washington, DC Benefits: Presentation of the annual "Joseph Papp Racial Harmony Award" and our "Corporate Diversity Award."
