Does the Foundation collect any information about me?
There are two types of information we collect: Anonymous Information and Personally Identifiable Information.
You do not provide Anonymous information willing but it cannot be tied back specifically to you. When you surf the internet Anonymous Information is automatically transferred to our server; such as the URL of the Web page you were viewing before, your IP address, the type of browser you are using to access this site and the pages you viewed on our website. While this information is anonymous, we may use it to improve our web content and services.
Personally Identifiable Information is information you willingly provide to us : such as your name, phone number or street address. You give us Personally Identifiable Information when you donate to us, get involved in the Foundation, post inquiries, report problems or request assistance. If you contact us we can keep a record of that correspondence. We may also ask you to complete surveys occasionally. The Foundation does not collect any Personally Identifiable Information about you on our website without your knowledge and consent.
How does the Foundation use information collected?
Thanks to the information we collect, the Foundation is able to understand how our website is used and provide you with a customized experience. With the Personal Identifiable information collected, the Foundation is able:
- to respond to your specific requests for information about our services
- to inform you about events, programs and other activities which might interest you
- to gather feedback regarding our events, programs and other activities; and
- to compile mailing lists for distribution of promotional and/or solicitation materials in connection with scheduled events and fund-raising activities by us.
How does the Foundation use "cookies" or collect other information automatically?

Partners & Sponsors - the Foundation may, from time to time, occasionally share e-mail addresses, name and street address information with carefully selected partner organizations and sponsors where we believe that you might have interest in their mission, work or products. Legal proceedings - The Foundation may disclose contact information about you in response to a subpoena, search warrant, or court order, or other legal process.
Risk of injury - when we believe that disclosing these information is reasonably necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (intentionally or not) the Foundation's rights or property, other users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
Administrative - in order to maintain, service and improve our website, we may share
information with third parties but only if necessary to allow them to provide database or server maintenance or security, manage transactions, or help us process and fulfill requests. Such disclosures are subject to non-disclosure commitments by third parties.
