Does the Foundation collect any information about me?
There are two types of information we collect: Anonymous Information and Personally Identifiable Information.
You do not provide Anonymous information willing but it cannot be tied back specifically to you. When you surf the internet Anonymous Information is automatically transferred to our server; such as the URL of the Web page you were viewing before, your IP address, the type of browser you are using to access this site and the pages you viewed on our website. While this information is anonymous, we may use it to improve our web content and services.
Personally Identifiable Information is information you willingly provide to us : such as your name, phone number or street address. You give us Personally Identifiable Information when you donate to us, get involved in the Foundation, post inquiries, report problems or request assistance. If you contact us we can keep a record of that correspondence. We may also ask you to complete surveys occasionally. The Foundation does not collect any Personally Identifiable Information about you on our website without your knowledge and consent.
How does the Foundation use information collected?
Thanks to the information we collect, the Foundation is able to understand how our website is used and provide you with a customized experience. With the Personal Identifiable information collected, the Foundation is able:
- to respond to your specific requests for information about our services
- to inform you about events, programs and other activities which might interest you
- to gather feedback regarding our events, programs and other activities; and
- to compile mailing lists for distribution of promotional and/or solicitation materials in connection with scheduled events and fund-raising activities by us.
How does the Foundation use "cookies" or collect other information automatically?
Cookies allow our system to identify your browser automatically whenever you interact with us, but not your identity. Our website uses them to store and sometimes track information about you and your use of the site :
- such as remind us of who you are and to access any information stored on our computer in order to deliver to you a better and more personalized service.
- to track interest in our website and it's content; and
- with your consent, to assist The Foundation in it's funding activities by targeting potential donors based upon usage of our website. We may also use them to personalize the content and banners that you and other users will see on our website.

With whom may the Foundation share my information?
Generally, the Foundation will not disclose, sell, rent or otherwise provide to any third party any of your Personally Identifiable Information except:
Partners & Sponsors - the Foundation may, from time to time, occasionally share e-mail addresses, name and street address information with carefully selected partner organizations and sponsors where we believe that you might have interest in their mission, work or products. However, we will never share your telephone number(s) or credit card information. You may instruct us not to use your information at any time by e-mailing us at: ffeu@ffeu.org.
Legal proceedings - The Foundation may disclose contact information about you in response to a subpoena, search warrant, or court order, or other legal process.
Risk of injury - when we believe that disclosing these information is reasonably necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (intentionally or not) the Foundation's rights or property, other users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
Administrative - in order to maintain, service and improve our website, we may share
information with third parties but only if necessary to allow them to provide database or server maintenance or security, manage transactions, or help us process and fulfill requests. Such disclosures are subject to non-disclosure commitments by third parties.

Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
