Wisconsin High School's Walk Against Discrimination Donates Funds

For the second year in a row, this summer students from the Oconomowoc boys and girls cross country team in Ashippun, Wisconsin, participated in the Second annual Domination over Discrimination 5K Run/Walk. Eamon McKenna, who teaches high school Spanish and coaches the Oconomowoc High School Cross Country team, coordinated the event, which this year raised $500 to benefit The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding.

"It was our goal to raise awareness regarding discrimination and diversity, while raising funds to support worthy charities that aid minorities and that work to promote harmony", said Mr. McKenna. The Foundation thanks Mr. McKenna and the High School Cross Country Team for their generous donation.
