On November 25th, Foundation President, Rabbi Marc Schneier, received the Interfaith Award at the Islamic Center of Long Island's Annual Gala, for his outstanding work during the First National Summit of Imams and Rabbis. In addressing the crowd of 400 prominent Muslim leaders of New York, Rabbi Schneier spoke of the dominant role religion plays in the Middle East saying "It is critical to include Jewish and Muslim religious leaders in this process to offer spiritual guidance and spiritual support."
