When accepting their awards, the honorees shared with the audience their thoughts on their experiences with race relations in their respective industries and personal lives. “This year’s honorees best exemplify in their personal and professional lives a deep commitment and dedication to the strengthening of race relations,” stated Rabbi Marc Schneier, President, and Russell Simmons, Chairman. “We are proud to honor them and welcome their leadership and support of The Foundation.”
